Responsibilities:

• Supervises the accounting aspects of the dealership including overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the financial activities
• Ensure corporate, statutory, & regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions
• Ensure all manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, interest protection and co-op advertising are current and accurate
• Assist with the preparation of a complete monthly financial statement according to dealership guidelines and within manufacturer's format and time frame
• Interpret the financial statement and the daily operating control (DOC) regularly and informs the General Manager of developing trends
• Review the reconciliation of general ledger accounts with outside sources to ensure proper reconciliation of reserve accounts, factory payable, and floor plan payable
• Manages the dealerships computer system to maximize utilization
• Supervises all office personnel to ensure that proper accounting procedures are adhered to
• Ensures accurate records for the quarterly and year-end audits to minimize costs
• Continuously strives to improve data integrity and information reporting through the dealership with attention to detail and confidentiality

Requirements:   (Inquire only if you meet ALL of the following criteria)

• In-depth knowledge & experience in same or similar position in an automotive dealership 
• Demonstrated experience analyzing financial documents, establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems  
• Operate with a hands-on approach 
• Experience with Dealertrack software
• Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Self-motivated
